In many ways, golf clubs are like your other half _________________ "A ball will always come to rest halfway down a hill, unless there is sand or water at the bottom." Henry Beard

| OK. I collected the Fli Hi today after the KBS shaft was delivered. If you guys struggle to hit traditional long irons but are thinking twice about using hybrids, this is a great club as an 'in-between'. I have been using those MP58s as long irons for a couple of times this week now. Ball flight seems higher than what I was hitting the X Forged too. This Fli Hi was ordered at the same time but fitter didn't have the stock for the shaft. Well, it came and I must say the wait was really worth it. This thing just powers the ball thru the air. The ball flight is very strong and no ballooning of the ball like a hybrid sometimes. This is a great subsitute if you intend to keep it under the wind. Although its 3i and 21*, i hit shots with both the MP58 and the Fli Hi to compare and this flat out flies 5-10yds further. Both are fitted with the same shaft and length so the extra mass behind the ball really makes the diff. Here are the pics: Granted the visible sole at address is not to everyone's taste, I quickly forgot about it once I was flushing those long iron shots. The divots were shallow and the feel was still more iron-like than a hybrid. This is one unique club as I dunno whether to consider it a hybrid or a long iron. Conclusion: I must say I have been pretty happy with how I have been fitted so far. Looking thru my bag, I have never been more diversified in my brand selections till today. The Fli Hi will take the 3i spot for now. Until it misbehaves, then the MP58 3i will replace it for a refreshed look: |

| Thanks TS & JT
This new MP Fli-Hi model is really worlds apart from the previous model. There is noticeably less bulge all round when looking down at the clubhead at address than the previous model. Its almost iron-like now but with added forgiveness.
At USD$129.99, you can't beat it for a great deal too. |
