Bro jaketang,

golfing in SZ not cheap at all.... DG also has some courses..

Mission Hills is in both SZ and DG, i think might be out of your budget i think, never played there because too ex! But if you playing weekday, could be cheaper and worth a game?

Green Bay is not bad, there is a public course (Longgang i think) which is cheap, but never played there. Heard Wind Valley is nice, but never played there either. Yinli in DG area is nice too.

You can check out http://www.golf007.com/english/ for course reviews and estimated costs

Jake, I'm going there from 25 Dec to 31 Dec.
I just got a quote of about $1900 for 7D6N with 3 rounds + airfare + hotel + sight seeing.

You can try
1. Firestone
http://www.golf007.com/english/golf_course/Firestone/index.htm

2. Wind Valley
http://www.golf007.com/english/golf_course/windvalley/index.htm

Let me know if u need contacts to arrange accom and golf.
Btw I'm quoted this hotel Day Inn and I think its quite good

firestone. has a resort feel to it.. well maintained but not challenging.

another course worth a try is Harbor plaza, bulit by li ka shing group. heard from frds quite nice but its a private club n more expensive.

fenghuangshang is challenging.. an new course biult from abandoned quarry.. bring alot balls!! good betting course

jiulongshan one of the older ones in DG..on avg u will lose 5-6 balls.. accuracy is key not length ..

feel these r nicer courses as u dont find them here in spore..

green fees usually abt 500-800 on weekdays..
try to play weekdays .. weekends pxes like spore.. china not cheap anymore for golfing

i usually book my own air tickets.. n call my local tour guide to book golf hotel n transport..
if u need his contact.. pm me.. cheers+

For shenzhen, the cheap and good is Firestone where there is 27 holes, for weekend golf i would not recommend. If you good lobang, you can try Shenzhen Golf Club.
