For me, I get smoother contact and the ball doesn't hop or bounce after impact. _________________ "A ball will always come to rest halfway down a hill, unless there is sand or water at the bottom." Henry Beard

Very personal (I agree with DS).
While the putter face makes a difference, so too does the golfer, i.e. how he strokes the putter etc. Why don't you pick up one of 'em bad boys and give it a go at PW _________________ "A ball will always come to rest halfway down a hill, unless there is sand or water at the bottom." Henry Beard

Try putting with the other unwrapped Yes! putters to get a feel of the C-groove. Alternatively, just ask the salesperson to unwrap it so that you can try. That's how I got mine... no regrets since _________________ "A ball will always come to rest halfway down a hill, unless there is sand or water at the bottom." Henry Beard

Try one and see Given that putters are very individual, it's best to try one out and see for yourself if it works for you. _________________ "A ball will always come to rest halfway down a hill, unless there is sand or water at the bottom." Henry Beard

| Can reduce putter-face ball hop by hitting ball slightly above equator of ball at the bottom of your putting stroke (not trying to lift up the ball) with your usual putting stroke.
Puts a bit fo top-spin on the ball so it starts rolling faster towards the target.
IMHO.
