Without PC or handicap

Hi,

Is it possible for my wife to join the bintan trip or other golf outing (outside of Singapore)?
She just started golf....completed 16 hours of 1x1 golf lessons and 2 games in Legends under her belt Wink

She doesnt have a PC (test should be in Feb) or handicap as yet.

PC or handicap is not required for malaysia usually...I don't think PC or handicap is required for bintan... if it is required then I cannot go for the bintan trip... Sad

Sure , no need pc n hcp when playing in Msia and Indonesia.
Please register ur name at the Bintan trip!

Oh!!...I think my message not so clear.
I am asking if its OK to join GR.

I am aware that usually M'sia and Bintan doesnt check PC or handicap.

Do not want her to feel pressure or delay flights....when we play, i will ask her to pick up if too many strokes or flight behind.

Forget about the PC, waste of time and $$. Go direct to HC instead.

On 1st Feb , GR ladies are going for 1 day golf at Ria Bintan , next time ur wife can join us ....

From the outings that I've been on with GR, there's no minimum standard that is required for anyone to join... Very Happy

that's why GR is so good!

But I guess do let the organiser know beforehand so that he/she can make the necessary arrangements so that your wife will not feel pressurised by being put into a group of single handicappers.

Also how fast you play is not totally dependent on skill...there are many beginners who are extremely fast!

Weekdays play at Malaysia or bintan no need pc or hc.
But come weekends, some may check though.

we are members in NSRCC...so they are quite strict.
Needs PC and ROG before HCP.

She is also learning from Tigerline so.....

Anyway, its not that bad...cos once she has PC we can play in NSRCC (9 holes evenings flights).

Assuming that there is no check by the club, whether PC or HC in SG or MY or elsewhere, it does not matter lah........just need to apply the relevant ettiquete and SOP....

eg. double par liao, pick ball and move on ...of coz if betting and involve stroke play , fix divot etc etc......

that's what I do......

agree with all bro here.. i'm also join GR games w/o pc and hcp is not any problem.

as long your wife is comfortable with it

dun worries so much of those things just enjoy your game
