| Never tried 2 irons but hit pretty well with my 2i hybrid. As for 3 iron, seldom use it as most of the time got no chance to use it. Can hit 3 iron but dispersion is great but consistent distance. | Muar Chee: I know what you mean. At TMCC Gardens 2 days ago on a par 5, had a good drive and 3 wood to within 95 m. Proceeded to blade a 52 deg to behind green and in deep rough. Took another 3 strokes to reach edge of green from there and then 3 putted. I love this game sometimes..... |

Been using it for about a year and it's my 1st reserve club off the tee if the driver isn't on speaking terms with me. In fact, I've found more consistent results if I tee it up like a mid-iron, i.e. very low. It performs as well for me off the deck as on a tee. Heck of a club, if I say so myself. |
I agree completely. In fact that exactly what I meant. Excuse me, I am not really good at explaining things.
As mentioned, it is like a mini driver to me. Just not as easy hitting it off the deck. I switch shafts, trying to play the Altus in CB2 and Whiteboard in 07 Burner TP. I'll post up a mini review when I got a chance to hit it on the range as well as on course. |

but normally i will use 3 iron now. will give me btw 180m to 190m off the tee average and abt 180 off fairway when struck sweet.
Now my hybrid swing went crazy.. dunno why. either left or right. never straight. Sianz..
Suppose to be same swing as iron. but just diff... haiz...
so for me :
driver replacement (now my driver and swing is misbehaving) : 3 iron or 3 wood with tour AD reg |
Try replacing your shaft with heavier, stiffer shaft. Got the same problem and an idiot with the nicest store in town put me on Bassara. Didn't solve it. Researched and found out the problem. I went from 65 grams regular to 91 grams strong flex. Problem's fixed. High-flat ball flight with a soft draw or soft fade on demand.
Aww, I actually found a hybrid head with square face angle too. Might be a factor, too. |

I have been using my Maruman Shuttle F 5 wood for a while, and I need a similar 3 wood, I have Maruman Shuttle U 3 wood which I kept in the store room, bought MacGregor 3 wood used once kept in the store room, Bought Maruman M Sole 3 wood used twice sold it! Bought another Maruman Shuttle i4000x lastest model BIG head, 230cc, 295gm weight, 42.5inch length.
Will use it tomorrow at Poresia long Par 3, 219 yds and 206 yds. Hope I won't make my 5 wood Shuttle F redundant.
I 've 5 Hybrid at home = MacTec 17* 20* & 23*, Maruman Hybrid 20* & 23*

| Let us know how it goes with your Maruman. I am not familiar at all with Japanese brands, so it'll be interesting to read a review about them... THanks! |

| The new MAruman Shuttle i4000x 3 wood big head, tried at Orchid Par 209yd my golf reached the green. No problem, I even tried my Shuttle F 5 wood to on it on Par 3 209 yds before.
So far My opinion on Maruman Shuttle F/A is the best wood produced by Maruman. M-Sole not so good feel so I sold it. I've still have the Maruman Shuttle U 3 wood kept in the store room collecting dust!

I am still looking for mine |
Hey,
I just wanna share something....
why don't you try hitting all the available 3 wood clubs and see their outcome?
I'd suggest you to try regular flex or senior flex 3wood for Men since they are built based on 43 or 43.5inch long. If you buy a "Women's or Lady's flex" it will be a little shorter.
My wife uses a TaylorMade V Steel 43.5inch regular flex and she can bomb her ball around 200yards.
Lastly, I have two 3wood. A 43inch long Mactec NVG2 Fujikura stiff flex and a 43.5inch long TM CGB Max 3wood Graman UL 5 shaft _________________ Golf is the Art of Recovery Shot HyBriD
