there were so much factors. yards conversion to metres, then the elevation, then the wind then the anticipated fade factor.

the take back was deliberate and slow. impact felt good. shot was straight where I wanted it to be. then the fade was perfect as anticipated. suddenly, the ball seem to carry more than normal. "SIT! SIT!"

then I heard a metal clanging. Ball hit the pin. I was.. er... 50/50. Sun was bright and we could not see the ball well and saw it land.

went up to the green. my ball is nowhere in sight. flight mate walked up to the hole, looked into it. raised both hands up in the air. i knew that was it.

Did not whip out the bushnell as it was a casual game. do not want to look too poseur or serious in my game. customer is not exactly a good golfer. he made 1 good shot out of 118 strokes.
