Heehee.. I'm staying in JB tonight so didn't have to traverse the causeways to get back to SG. That's why I'm back so quickly.

How did I play? Hmm... very so-so, to be honest though I had an awesome time.

Played a 97. Truth be told, I didn't feel that I played so horribly. I got my driver to work this time (I'm a firm believer of draw drivers now - particularly my XLS Monster Draw). However, I just didn't convert.

Case in point, I had a fantastic drive on the 9th hole which left me about 100m to the green. I ended up overshooting the green. Played a pretty decent chip shot (thanks, Quinike) but had a bad bounce which caused the ball to roll over to the fringe and then, 3 putted. So, a 6 for what could have been a par or better really summed up how I played today.

I had many chances but didn't capitalize. The good thing is that I'm getting better control of my drives and my short game. I just need more practice but I'm really grateful to Quinike for imparting his chipping/pitching methods which I found to be very useful. I didn't hit them perfect all the time but I think I had 2 chips which put me close enough to the pin for a given.

Can't complain... as I can only blame myself for not playing better. But I'm not displeased either Smile

Hi bro Nemo. I didn't. I totally forgot to bring my golf balls which you delivered into JB. That bag is still in my apartment in SG. I remembered about it only when I was about to tee-off. Sorry bro.

I'll use it at my next game and will let you know how it goes Smile

I played 84, and my wife played 112.

I had one mulligan (courtesy of my wife) on the 9th hole of the Arnold Palmer Course.
So maybe you can post my score as 85 (without the mulligan).

Really enjoyed the day, and thankful to organisers for the excellent execution of the event. We thought the food was really good too! My wife said too bad she was on a table with 9 hungry men.. the food disappeared the moment is was put down... ahahahaa.. just joking! Kudos to Sunny, Moon and all organisers.. Well done!
