| Hi all,
Just started learning the game just before CNY 2010 and now going on to take my PC in 2 week's time. I inherited a fake set of clubs from a friend and decided to put them to use instead of collecting dust and cobwebs.
I came across this site in my search for equipment reviews as I'm still looking for a nice beginner set to purchase. I'd like to thank the people who were responding to my other thread, offering me info and alternatives.
Anyway I usually go to the range about 4-5 times a week, mostly at Green Fairways and Toa Payoh East, and right now I'm trying to get rid of that damn chicken wing that has plagued me from day one.
Hope to interact with you all more!
Regards. |

| Wah, I don't think I can hit the ball far enough yet to go for a game. I'm only doing like 90m (best case scenario, 80m usually). I think once I have sorted out that chicken wing, I hope to be hitting at least 100 with the 9. @Seiko : Thanks for the recommendation on the Cleveland Hibore XLI. I went down to test it and was gonna get it, but during my lesson, I was raving to my friend about how easy it was to hit. My friend actually made a reservation and took the set before I got a chance to buy it. Last set |

| I only got a chance to try the Japanese Steel shaft 7 iron, but I found it quite good to use.
But I wanted to get a Graphite shaft, and Daniel informed me that Golf Bargains had 1 last set there. |

| I just join the beginner class. Care to join as well? _________________ One thing about golf is you don't know why you play bad and why you play good.
Quit Golf Unless I can play like S70B.
