If we can have a golf bag tag, probably it will helps creating awareness of this forum. Secondly, while we are out on a course playing we can identify the members from this forum as many times we have not met up with each other.

Of course, this will be after the name and logo are being confirm.

Suggestion: Can we have the forum to default to 'Opt out' of watching the reply instead of the existing ' Opt-IN' ??? ie by default, it is opt out where one cannot watch the reply so as to not have the notifications in one's INBox.

Can have those Trader counter and anonymous feedback like the ones in Ebay? To help people to assess if the person they are trading is helpful or giving good and genuine deals

there is a reputation system that we can activate when necessary. It is currently not very meaningful as we have ppl representing reputable shops in the sales and promotion forum and the rest are normally one-off kind of personal sales. That i believe, do not require a reputation counter.

importantly, we want to keep this forum as a platform for discussions, meet new people and share ideas. we do not want it to become a golf classifieds

- May be automatically generated note to members that hasnt login to site over prolong period of time i.e. 3-6 months so that we can continue to have them back.

I am not too sure if this is a good idea though....

I do receive such mails from forums that I no longer go to and i just ignore or junk it. Find them more of a nuisance than reminder. I personally don't like such reminder mails. I am not sure about others.

Basically, there are reasons why ppl drop out of a forum. People do come and go. Such reminders hardly serve any purpose in my opinion...
