Bro, it's called Octville or Armada or Christine. I believe the new name of the course and club is "Christine". Funny name but maybe the new owner is called Christine, that's why.
http://www.octville.com/
It's quite near via the Woodlands Causeway, along the Pasir Gudang Highway. There are signboards along the Pasir Gudang Highway. I game there quite regularly, cheap and me and kakis love the curry mee and bah ku teh at Masai, near the hospital. Or a seafood dinner at Orang Asli Restuarant at Kampong Jawa. That's always the highlight of the game!
Let me know if you plan to game there, I will be very interested to see your swing and the TM Burner Plus at work. But I'm on a self-imposed 2 weeks golf hiatus...haha. |

Overall, it's quite a nice course and challenging off blue. |

| Bro ringrain. On. We go octville someday. The steel shafts of the burner plus are working great for me. Looking forward to break 100 more often instead of once in a while. |

| Any fr on the course conditions? Well maintained? Like legends standard or starhill or worse?
Hope not like daiman 18 or austin hills as i consider them rather badly maintained. |

The course is quite well maintained but it's cow grass. Most of the holes are quite straight forward and wide. Some of the dogleg holes are quite interesting with some playing up and down slope. They just upgraded so the bunkers are filled with good soft, white sand, not that prone to ponding after rain. Buggy allowed on the green unless rain.
The buggy is damn powerful, complete with left-right indicators (no joke) but they are super unreliable, I had experienced breakdowns most of the time.
They are quite particular over 2 ballers during weekends and will attempt to pair up. But just resist and make alot of noise, they will relent.
The nasi lemak at the canteen (air-con and non air-con sections), is quite filling and delicious.
Only complaint is that the changing/shower rooms are badly in need of a renovation which I think will be done very soon. They are in the progress of upgrading the club house and facilities. |
