Haha.....not too bad. Despite the bad weather, still managed to get 8 holes completed.

Jon, thanks for the booking and lunch!

Very Happy

Jon..Thanks for the lunch and getting us out to your golf course. It was a very nice layout and in excellent condition. It was a pleasure to meet you and hopefully we can get out and play some golf one of these days.

Also I wanted to say thanks to all the guys that made it out there today. It was a great time (despite the weather) and I got a chance during the rain delay and at lunch to speak with a few of you guys and that was fun as well.

Sham...thanks for playing with my father in law and me. We had a great time with you and look forward to doing it again soon..assuming your arm is better!!!

Being over here in Singapore has been a great experience and meeting DGman through a general acquiantance has been a great avenue for me to be able to meet some of you guys. I hope to play with many of you in some future games here or even get the chance to talk some golf at the Den.

Dan

Asahi & mloy: If too dry you all will complain that the green too fast... Come to think about it, Brandon you also were playing at keppel when thunderstorm happened. Looks like our combined presence bring the rain...Maybe we should not play at the same day until the monsoon season is gone Laughing

Where got... The last time we played at Laguna was ok wat Razz. It's the combined presence with Brandon lah... We created such a "low" pressure that the rain came instantly.

Your palm trees still need my rain lah... If I changed and caused drought throughout Asia... lagi jialat... Hence you should thank me instead, maybe with a Travis Matthew shirt or two... Hehehe

Benny, I've always wondered what your nick meant....now i know.....

Anyways, I'll share my tip to ensuring a dry day for golf.....A lot of people are confused and belive in old wives' tales about sticking a chili and onion on the first tee to hold off the rain... trust me this doesn't work....there are two different ways to prevent rain...outside the monsoon season, just follow these steps:
1. Find a red chili
2. One nice round onion...spring onion cannot work
3. Procure string if you wear boxers or thread if you wear briefs (this is for suspension purposes)
4. Tie chili and onion together
5. Hang from your ping pongs

During monsoon season, ground said chili and onion into a fine paste then smear freely on your ping pongs.....hasn't failed me yet....

Couldn't agree more with you eiji. Now we know why you have to 3 1/4 swing. Full swing will hurt. ROFL

Maybe I'll take 1 or 2 pictures to share with the rest of GRians so they can perform similar procedures correctly ... Don't worry, your "ping pong and the bat" will be in mosaic... Laughing

Btw, I have registered for 7.10am flight at MBGC (9 holes) tomorrow. Last check online, left 2 spaces if anyone want to join me for a "quickie".
