PostSubject: Grip weight make a difference   Tue Apr 26, 2011 4:24 pm

Had been troubled by my driver swing since i bought it 1/2 yr ago. i doing well in my driving off the tee on my previous club ( Nike Sumo + Diamana blue) but since i changed to R9 460 + diamana blue, my driving off the tee suffer consistency (Spraying but mostly slice). So yesterday i went to OCC BFG intending to cut my shaft 1/2" - 1" which i think will improve on my shot since i drive better when i choke down. So Mr BFG@OCC ( sorry i cannot rem the name ) advise not to cut it but instead he do some measurement on me (swing weight). He put lead weight here and there and ask me to swing some balls. Surprisingly, the club feel better and control better. Therefore, MR BFG@OCC changed a heavier grip and thats it, im back.I recorded my swing using swingreader (iphone app) and notice the down swing more control (better release etc).

i hereby like to thanks Mr BFG@OCC for his professional services. THANKS.

What grip were you using and what grip did you change to?

Do you also know the difference in weight between the grips?
