| You got a lot to learn, my friend.
First of all, it's not 'onix' - no such thing.
The shaft for the Superfast would be the Matrix Ozik. It is still the TM stock shaft, just that they brand it under the Matrix name. Note that these are mass produced shafts, and probably wont stand the test of time and numerous strikes with your driver. Matrix has a whole range of shafts.. The more popular ones being the HD-6, among many others..
To me, ALL Taylormade stock shafts (unless it's a TP Version) are pieces of crap. The first thing i'd do when i buy a Taylormade driver is remove the head, use the stock shaft in some of my potted plants as support sticks and go shopping for an aftermarket shaft. Perhaps the same cannot be said about the Fujikura Blur that comes with the R-11, considering that some among us are using it very effectively for quite a while now..
So yeah, conclusion is, if you're still using a regular shaft, stay away from the stock ones and get fitted with a proper aftermarket one. You'll be all the better for it. |

| IMO, the Burner '09 is superior in terms of feel and distance... i think the sound at impact is also more satisfying and for some reason, the ball seems to come out hotter off the face.. but these are just my opinions.. you should try both to see which you lke better.. |

I agree, the superfast sounds and feels very 'hollow' at impact for me. but maybe thats just me |

| FTP, thanks for the reply.... it does make sense efoong, you can try it out at the demo day this Wednesday at OCC but I think they only have the superfast 2.0 available. |

| What you guys think of the TM TP Burner (2009 model, whole head black in colour) Superfast driver? I am thinking of buying one with a 8.5 Deg loft, S-Flex Matrix HD6 shaft. Actually I prefer the 9.5 deg loft but not available.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers, Turbo |

| went to TM demo at mbgc last week, the ozik stock shaft that comes along with white superfast felt very very tip soft, and butt stiff. it felt like the head lags behind too much. i couldnt get a good launch with a 9.5 head.
Does anyone have a white superfast head combo with a nice aftmkt shaft? _________________ For Sale: Zen Zam LH British Open 2010 F360 $200 Mizuno MPT11 52/GW DG Spinner $80 Graman Limey 80S Hyb shaft with VDR grip $70

| but then again I thought TM's mass market proposition for the burner series, is to match the head with an extra long, extra light shaft like the stock Ozik shaft. Does matching it with std spec 45 inch 65 gr aftmkt shaft kind of defeat its point? _________________ For Sale: Zen Zam LH British Open 2010 F360 $200 Mizuno MPT11 52/GW DG Spinner $80 Graman Limey 80S Hyb shaft with VDR grip $70
