PostSubject: Birdie buy chicken wings???   Fri Sep 30, 2011 2:40 pm

actually i have been thinking about this for quite some time.

sure i know will get bomba if i should start this ROFL

who started this thingy about buying chicken wings if the golfer should get a birdie.

shoudn't it be the other way round that if a golfer gets a birdie, his or her flightmates should be buying the chicken wings for a good play at the hole?

so what is the point of scoring a birdie and having to buy chicken wings?

clown

anyway just saying this for discussion. no hard feelings or anything.

cheers.

now that you mention it, it started when i played blee first time at OCC. got a bird and he was saying must buy chicken wings.. i was like "huh? even if got is not I buy right?"

he said something like "if hole-in-one who will blunjah? the golfer or flight mates? got insurance cover what? so u buy chicken wings is correct what."

me: "ok ok"

after that the rest is history..

It's like when you score a hole in one, you buy drinks for everyone, right?

Same concept...

You are the champion, so we salute you! However, saluting can be tiring so we need something to keep our tummies happy too Smile

Bian, it's only OCC local rule lah.

However, decision 3.4.a in OCC local rule states that "If birdie maker were tired of chicken wings, he or she may choose to pay for chng tng, chendol, rojak or young thai coconut"

oh, and if you are playing at other courses and Blee, Mizzy, Mloy, Dude, TS and I are still playing with you. Then yes, the chicken wing rule applies on that course too

capiche?

OCC Consiglieri.

Bian... the odd thing is this. If we agree that when you score a birdie that you won't need to buy chicken wings... you will feel awkward when you do score a birdie and not have to buy chicken wings. We won't kick a fuss. We won't say a thing. But deep down, you know that you'd want to buy us chicken wings.

steady ah bian, if you dont like this rule, it means you are prone to making birdies.

Dont like this rule, you can join the other Sunday MAFIA family at Kranji course. There, birdies will sure give you $$$$.

Note: the Kranji gank are also known to 25-ing their comrades. So your choice leh ROFL
