I have not played this course for the past 5 to 6 years. Unless they have upgraded the course, it remains permanently edge in my memory as I have played the course umpteen times back in the mid to late 1990's.

It's a relatively flat and easy course and good for beginners. Only problem back then is the travel time. Distance wise, I think it's shorter compared to The Legends and Orchard.

I am going there this Sat 29 Oct'11 with my colleagues. Very Happy

I am teeing off at 8am. But then again in Malaysia, you can tee off anytime. 1st come 1st serve. Enjoy your game. Swing

Hi, I'm also planning on a game there next month. Appreciate if you could give some feedback after your games.

Cheers.

Play there 3 weeks ago, here are my thoughts of the course:

Travel time: Approximately 45min in the morning (via Tuas) and 1.15h after the game due to traffic build up.
Tee box: Not very well maintained, grass was too long on some of the tee boxes
Course layout: Fairways are generally flat, water hazards could be found on quite a few of the holes. Course drainage was not as good, some of the holes were soggy from all the rain.
Rough: PUNISHING, high probability of losing your ball if you hit it in the rough.
Green: Condition was surprising ok.
Crowd: Very few golfers, I think there was a total of 7 flights for the entire morning (my group took up 3 of those 7).
Overall impression: Would have been more enjoyable if the course was a little better maintained, travel time a bit too long for my liking (normally golf at Poresia).

Enjoy your game!

Ok. How much does it cost to play the full game?

Just my 2 cents,

I just played there last Thursday with my uncle who is a regular there.
I think the promotion was RM55 for weekday.
And the malay lady at the counter can speak Very good chinese!
It happens that we were the only flight, and my uncle kept saying it was because he booked it all for us!

It's a great course to play at.
The only thing I did not like was the water management of the fairways.
We encountered light rain and parts of the course was very soggy.
This made it very hard to hit decent fairways with mud and water splashing back at you when you take your swing.
And because of that, you will have many plugged balls.

Other than that, g600d gave a great review.

Myself and two others played here on Sun, 20 Nov 11. Rm119 for full game and was given each Rm10 meal voucher which covered our lunch.

Relatively wide fairway and reasonably maintain fairway and green, rough was alittle over grown.

Not crowded at all so it's a easy pace for us today.

Overall a nice experience for newbies

I am not sure if they still have the unlimited golf for RM100 for weekdays. Its fun to do an overnight trip, an unlimited weekday and plus a weekend. I spend less than SG$200 and it include the game for both days, food (lots and include sea food), hotel (2 to a room) and a mini drinking session...

Can stay over at the "kelongs" . Though they are constructed on concrete beams rather than wooden silts. Prices are reasonable with a BBQ thrown in.

Played there again this morning. Was only sharing the golf course with about 3 other flights...

RM55 for 1 game, saw on the poster on the wall (RM89 for 36 holes, weekdays).

Just played there on Monday actually. Due to the rainy season, was pretty damn muddy. My buggy was drifting all over the fairways. Even saw a sand bunker converted to mini-pond. Main point of distress would be the 'wild' rough though. Its almost impossible to find a ball that isnt in the fairway, even if you see where it lands. Almost thought that got toyoh stealing the balls.

My God! I am sorry if it sounds a bit blunt but you should not have driven the buggy onto the fairway and causing further damage if it's soggy. That's the basic etiquette in consideration for other golfers.

Do be careful when staying there as your car is parked along the road a distance away. I know some cars have been broken into...

Agree with this concern. You never know who is targeting your car. Park your car head-in and steer your steering to one side. I always try to find a parking lot nearest the kerb and steer the back of the front wheels towards the kerb to make it harder for would-be thieves from towing away your car.

Played kukup this morning.

I think all in there was only 2 or 3 flights of golfers. Fairway and green was ok. The rough was just trimmed, ball masuk mostly cannot find.

Overall good day!
