Good day to all fellow golfing bros,

i am planning to upgrade my current set (my dad's irons), not sure if the above selection is alright for a beginner like me (very high handicapper). looking at 2nd hand sets.

Thank you all for your advice

Winston, how come there is no video for the image at the bottom of your post?

Instead of changing irons, have you considered buying some easier to use hybrids (e.g. Taylor Made) instead?

If you are not really inclined to practice, hybrids will be much more friendly than most iron sets.

If budget is no issue, try the PRGR EGG series, I have never felt a set of Super GI Clubs that felt so balanced, but they are pricey

If you are inclined to practice, then hold off the purchase until your swing gets more consistent

If you just wanna buy something cos it christmas and you want to give yourself a treat (which is a very valid reason!!!) then pick the one that looks and feels the best to you.

Not trying to be condescending, but if you are a VERY high handicapper (as u mentioned earlier) then the irons are not really going to matter much. You will probably see more difference as your ball striking improves.

Thanks Derek, yes my swing isn't consistent. Will take your advice, practice more then decide. Thanks a million...
