One of my fren was playing one flight behind .

so was there any fighting or just hit by the ball??? I think with the arrival of 3 police cars, it must be fighting, otherwise normal hit-by-ball incident do not warrant police intervention.

wow, talk about EQ, and nobody on the flight stop this ?
I thought NSRCC is quite strict with ethique and golf law, and this still can happenned.

Was it that they thought the marshall was not good enough so they need to take matter into their own hands ? such a shame.

Thiss is the worst piece of reporting ever.....no wonder no one knows who shot JFK despite countless witnesses much less all this hearsay...let me try to piece everything together from the reports i've gathered from this thread.....

the flight behind hit into the flight in front while they were still on the green which resulted in a fight......some guy from the front flight then hit someone in the back flight with a wedge injuring said person causing the police and ambulance to drive to hole 3 ripping up the fairway in the process....and all this was caused by the ABSD......

Very sad it happens. Then again, having seen some of the players behaviour both at kranji and Nsrcc in recent years, I am not surprise it happens.

we shd get some light in today New Paper. my friend who was playing couple of flights behind said he was told that the "victim" injuried himself and claimed that he was being hit by the wedge n not ball!

sort of conflicting reports so let's see the paper.

maybe we will be ore confused after reading it.

has anyone personally seen or witness the incident or was in the same flight? If not i think all the speculation or guesses are baseless.

wait for the investigation reports.

This is what I heard from the flight behind the fight;

Victim hit a shot to the front flight while they were at the green and landed near the culprit who was at the bunker. He was shock by the ball landed behind him. Victim came to apologize and culprit said something(maybe scold) to the victim. Victim also GL, say something like "not happy hit me lah" ... then culprit hit him with the wedge....

ahaha yes i suppose it could be considered an invitation to hit, but as asahi said, invite doesn't necessarily mean can hit. that's why s&m is actually illegal Laughing

A singapore flight behind me underestimated a short par 4 and teed off a bit too close to the green while we were putting. They came up and apologised profusely, very gentlemanly of them. At that time I thought it was an nice gesture, but also wondered what the fuss was about.

Now, in light of this story, I can perhaps see why. Walau, so violent.

I got in a fight on the golf course once...

I asked Mloy to tee off from the blue tee.
