Hi sob,

We just changed the system, however, the golf pass aspect should be working fine.

Please take care to select the correct bank option for payment. For DBS/POSB cards, please select the option on the left.

Also, please note that Amex / Mastercard are NOT accepted from banks other than DBS

Hi Shellman,

Are you currently a member of MGK? If not, balloting is only available for members.

If yes, simply login to your account and you will be directed to the golf balloting page, at that page:

1) Select date of play
2) Select bank of credit card to use (other banks on top, dbs and posb below)
3) Select Visa and Master
4) Enter Credit Card Details
5) Enter One Time Password
6) Click "OK" or wait to be redirected back to MGK page, DO NOT CLOSE BROWSER
7) Take note of golf pass number sent to you, it starts with 1900
8) On day of play, present Golf Pass number to OCC Golf Dept when registering for flight, they will confirm in MGK system and charge you the corporate union rate

If for any reason you need to change the date of the golf pass, please call MGK hotline at 6342 5188 before the date of play to change the date.

Derek, thanks for the reply. I'm a MGK member. I'm assuming that you can't choose the time of flight? Cheers.

Hi Shellman,

There is no need to choose the time or flight, the golf pass is valid for the entire day and also accords the holder with social and recreational facilities privileges as well. i.e. U can use the swimming pool, gym, etc etc for that day

Hi Kooky,

A golf pass costs $16.50. The money collected goes back to the union that provided the golf pass. This amount is collected online.

About the golfing fees (i.e. green fees, buggy, etc), please pay directly to OCC on the day of play.

The golfpass is one of the best benefits from MGK Smile Tried it for the first time 2 weeks back and it's easy to obtain (online). Thanks Derek and the MGK team Smile

MGK member here...

Last week I tried to call in to check if there was a slot available for one ball (told OCC I don't mind playing with others) on the weekend and was told I need to come in and try my luck.

Was told no booking but managed to do it with no problem previous week...

Another time, was there in person to check if there's available slot and counter told me to come back another day.

errrr...

Is there a fixed standard with OCC in the first place???

How are we suppose to ballot when OCC is not allowing us to book?!?!?

Hi Harimau,

Let me check with OCC on their protocol regarding 1 ball joining flights on weekends and get back to you.

However, please note that most clubs do not even let their members book as a 1 ball on weekends so while I will try my best, I do not expect a good response.

Could u please drop me a PM with your membership number?

In the meantime, I suggest that your might want to form a group of kakis or join the GR people here who play OCC on weekends.

Shell man, you needa ballot (and pay) for a golf pass via Mgk first before u can enjoy corp union rates at occ (weekday $36, weekend $80)..

Derek - thanks for your friendly replies. I observed that alot of questions regarding how Mgk/occ works especially.. Haha.. Maybe u can try put more info on the website especially regarding balloting procedures? Smile

Hi Shellman,

It is the corporate union golf pass. MGK acts as an exchange on behalf of the unions to make golf passes available to more union members. Hence the requirement to join NTUC if you wish to become a union member. Otherwise, we are unable to offer the benefit of corporate union golfing rates to MGK members.

On my receipt it is 112.35 plus you need to add 16.5 for ballot = 128.85
