Pan west may have Cleveland wedges for ladies. Purchased a CG 14 for the wife sometime back. Graphite shaft.

Thank you fredc..

I have reservation of using graphite shaft..
Since it is wedge.. not irons, woods or driver.. I can afford not to make that extra distance that I can get from using graphite shaft.. Graphite shaft tend to be quite flex.. more difficult to control.. Need accuracy, control and consistency..

I cannot lift clubs that are too heavy..

I am still very confused with what should I look out for in choosing Wedges..

Get Nike wedges. They are ok for my wife. Got the 52 and 56 a year back for my wife from far east 2nd hand shop.

Thank you Tom..

Started looking at 60..
Once found a nice 60.. then will get 56 etc also..

Macgregor Set P A S - Sand Wedge is only 56.. and too thick..

I will look at the Nike wedges you mentioned also.. different shops have different brands..

Macgregor has a 60 wedge (S/R version)..
Looking at it.. like the thinness.. but never try it before..

Have anyone tried that before...?

I know Mloy uses Vokeys and does quite well with them.

Don't think there are Manu ladies wedges in the market. I do know many ladies who improvise. They buy 2nd hand normal wedges in the market, and then go to a fitter to fit a graphite shaft on it to make it lighter.

For your info, mloy's vokeys are fitted with aerotech shafts. This type of set up only for semi pros

Most of the Golf manufacturer makes a Graphite version of wedges for Ladies.

If you liked performance and Good spin, then I would suggest you to buy only 3 brands....

Brands like Callaway, Fourteen, and Vokey

If you are afraid that the entire weight might be too heavy for you.
I would suggest you to buy a NS Pro 850, 85 gram steel shaft.

To lower down the Swing Weight.

The normal Swing Weight for Gap wedge, like 50 to 52 are in between D3 to D5

And for Sandwedge, like 56 to 60....its between D6 to D8

I personally used a D6 for my 52 and D8 for my 58

I built a D2 swing weight for my wife 52 deg wedge. Cleveland
and a graphite wedge for her 60degree in D 0 swing weight

We often suffer from the problem of too many words.

I propose shortening the name Wedge for Ladies to WedgIes...

sounds good doesn't it

Thank you Hybrid!!

I am currently using clubs that are about B9..
so holding any D will be way too heavy for me..

Do you know any other suitable clubs that are within these weight..?
At most C..

Hey Lisy,

Your welcome.

Unfortunately, Most of the wedges are D 2 to D6

The only way you can lower it to C9 for example is to changed the shaft.

maybe a 75 grams R flex would do it

Nike and Callaway has good set of wedges for women. I got both brands but Nike is better for me.
