1 other thing ~ you may want to consider a driver with lofts between 5 ~ 7 degree. I am quite confident you'll get the distance you're looking for

equipment do make a difference...try a Supertri Vs Superdeep with the same shaft...or simply shift the weights (heavy weights to the front for higher CG) in the Supertri for low launch...

tried for Superquad and could not launch it high at all...

Almost definitely 100% confirmed for sure you are hitting down on it and generating too much spin, from what you described so far.

To improve this, tee it up higher, place the ball more toward the target, and learn to hit up on it.

Not saying it will be easy, but if you get it right, you will get more distance.

Cheers.

To me, it was. It makes my launch angle too low.
I placed my tee higher now but it has to be coupled with setup the driver more on the toe. I lift the driver head so that the ball is somewhere above the center of the head on setup. Then I just drop the driver head to the ground, it will cause the ball seems to be at the toe.

If I just place tee higher without changing the setup, many weird things will happen.

Agree that short game will give a better outcome and score .. but still ...

I can understand why we want to get more distance off the tee .. there is no better feeling than hitting it long and straight .. rather than solely relying on the short game to save the bad shot ...

its just the feeling of confidence that it gives u throughout the hole Very Happy

I suspect your ball spin and launch angle of your driver are not optimal. Go and see a club fitter who can offer professional advice.

Mostly for most people..

It is the short game!!
If you can do well in playing your short game, you already win 70% of the game!!

Because.. remember you can only use driver once in a hole..
so better master short game to your best instead of worrying to improve your distance with your driver..

bro lisy, as with most golfer, i worry about every aspect of my game..just cant help myself ROFL

just depend which one i should worry about on certain days lol!

Bro, Lisy is a gal ... Take a look at her status ... Thats a good hint! Laughing

Do you change the setup of the head to be nearer to the toe? That helps me to hit it solid more frequently on high tee.

Here is an article to best illustrates what I mean....

http://golfgurutv.com/2011/05/11/distance-from-the-ball-is-it-important-you-bet-it-is-heres-why/

If you look at the video, the ball is at the toe of the driver during the setup.

Might I ask what you're looking to sell? If it's good, I'd like first dibs Smile

Trying very hard to chalk up your posts ah?

Before you open your WTS thread, bear in mind that the people here are rather sophisticated.

Your pricing and your stuff better be good and genuine.

Other than swinging faster or harder, does aftermarket shaft makes a big difference? My drivers shots are somewhere 180m-200m on good days. But somehow i couldnt pass that mark, tried and tested different drivers and loft, all stock shafted thou.

Take lessons and be very specific about your goals with your coach, trying to do it yourself might really screw up your swing
