| jialat. woke up today with a terrible itch, near the backside. just needed to satisfy my craving, walked into Golf Direct @ commonwealth and walked out carrying a 2012 Scotty Cameron California Fastback.
Whole process took not more than 15min as was rushing to pick daughter.
feel much better now. |

| I am an addict. I know chemical castration is practised in some countries but I need my pair of Titliest Pro V1s. I have been an addict ever since I caressed my first forged irons, stroked my light but long shaft, sniffed my first brand new shoe and paraded in front of the mirror with my new clothes ala Silence of the Lambs. Eh, not my wife's clothes ah. That one cured already.
Equipment: 1. Driver - TM R9 with Graffaloy Booyah shaft 2. 4-wood - TM R11 with UST Mamiya 3. Hybrid - TM Burner 2.0 4. Irons - Soon, soon Fosh sticks with KBS Tour 90 5. Wedge - Too many and just bought some from fellow brothers 6. Putter - STX
PS Met many fellow brothers in my Buy and Sell frenzy. UPz to all brothers for being solid. Golf is really for gentlemen. |

| i was just doing a tally...
would you agree that most golfers have a soft spot for:
1. Drivers 2. Putters 3. Wedges 4. Bags 5. Irons
Hybrids and FW rank low in the addict list.
i spoke to a leading psychologist about men and their obsession some years back. its seems that people and men in particular are fond of keeping trophies.
Trophies can meant the following in golf terms:
1. Physical trophies from golf competitions (slinger is a candidate) 2. Winning bets from bak kar (you know who usually get the keeps) 3. Always winning by just one stroke in any match play betting (ultimate trophy IMHO)
4. Recognised for having the best and most expensive set of golf clubs (kakis are quietly waiting for cheap off load) 5. The most outstanding golf bag (sorry guy013) 6. The biggest golf equipment - drivers, iron sets, wedges, etc collection (will play once to convince oneself its an experiment or test project, sounds familiar)
7. Best read posting on related forums 8. Matching the misses extensive luxury bag collection 9. the burning need to fulfil one's desire to pamper oneself about surviving yet another year in a tough and cruel working environment.
there is nothing to curb as long as you do not burst your credit card spendings and have enough sleep after the 3 am closing time on ebay hunting.
however for those who seeks help or want to start collecting trophies, clinical hours are mondays and fridays (an appointment is needed). Nurse FrostEE contact is 1800-stop-buys
patients will not be allowed to meet and mingle as a five minute chat on what's the latest will erase 10 hours of theraphy on why are you buying......have fun and do take this posting in jest.
have a great weekend.......DGman |
