I will do another mini review of some of the latest clubs tmr. Have a 10:30am appt with Fuzion Golf to hit some Titleist, Mizunos and other clubs.

I'm so excited I can't sleep!

TS, yes saw a mx-300 on graphite there. If I am correct, I think the price is about SG1.6k after discount. Cant see any steel shaft versions.

The Saleschap there is pain the butt. Making offers that is right here right now, buy it now and don't walk away type of shit. I am paying money still have to take shit from feller. What kind of attitude is that...

Wrong GH then. The MX-300s are cheaper than 58s and 68s here. Same shaft option for all 3 that is.

LOL! Slinger, you crack me up!

Thanks, KK. $1.6k is very very ex Sad I'll consider the MP-57s. The 58s are too fancy and ex for me.

I tried the VRs. Not a big Nike fan, unfortunately. I think they are ok but somehow, the Mizzies felt better. May be purely psychological though.

hmmm.. i'd feel wary about getting 2nd hand off the net cos you can't really determine if it's accurately rated, but maybe consider getting brand new ones? they don't cost that much more..

Hi Techno,

Yeah, 1.6k is rather exp. I was looking at the MX300 the other day and realise the price tag is the same as MX200.

Dont mind I chat in.

By all means, rc311 Smile

IF, my concern with 2nd hand mizzies is that the forged irons may be dinged in areas which I can't tell until I get the set Sad Must buy new clubs then. Hmmm....

haha had a few rolls with it the other day at PW and i must say it feels good. i don't really like the sharper edges of the model i was using though.. prefer softer and more rounded lines.

JimmyChoo,

You were asking me the other day how did the MP58s look at address.

Have fun here:

http://media.mizunousa.com/images/10glf1/210483/3d/index.html

And for the MP68s:

http://media.mizunousa.com/images/10glf1/210484/3d/index.html

You can see for the 58s and 68s, there is quite a bit of bounce and cambered sole to them and also a blunted leading edge to reduce digging. These make them more forgiving on the shot maker.

For GIs, here's the MX-300s:

MX-1000:

after 3 months of intense practise and games I think I am ready to dump my X20s for a new set of clubs. I have pretty much decided to get a MX300 set but after looking at the MP58 today, it left me undecided.

Does anyone know where I can take a few swings with the MX300 and MP58? Any range pro shop carries them coz I really want to see the ball flight rather than swinging into a wall.

Any info will be appreciated.

I was told that the MX-300s are not as forgiving as the MX-200s. I would definitely recommend testing out both the MX-300s and the MX-200s before you commit to the former.
