I think maybe because of the slot technology...... Adam was the first to have the slots but somehow they forgot that too much of something may not look too appealing.

It will be a sad day if that happens.

I don't know how you guys feel but I'm not a big fan on TM stuff (except for their putters). They seem to produce new models all the time and each change is minor but there's a constant "refresh." As a result, I find that their products become obsolete a bit too quickly.

It's like they can't stop tinkering with stuff and keep wanting to release more products into the field without any substantial improvement over the previous iterations (perhaps the RBZ FWs is an exception).

Regardless, I like competition and I'd hate to see a great company like Adams fall prey to TM's teeth.

If I recall correctly, the Adams guy started taylormade, then sold it to adidas. He started Adams golf, Then sold to adidas again?
He moved to callaway? Ok then i see a pattern... my crystal ball says callaway will be in the sights in the future?

Seriously, it is not good imho. Adams built up their reputation over the years, a shame if they sold out to tMag. But at the end of day, it is a biz decision

sorry, I stand corrected

Barney Adams started Adams Golf (after acquiring Dave Pelz golf in 1987)
Gary Adams started Taylormade 1979
different Adams, my bad...

The guy that is leaving Adams Golf for Callaway is 'Chip' Brewer --> Brewer has been with Adams Golf since 1998

anyway, will be a pity if Adams is swallowed by TMag.
