But seriously, for snakes, they are fine, usually they move away.

Crocs.. maybe you want to keep a distance.. forget your ball if it landed near the beast. Unless u r steve irwin, dun think u want to be hitting that ball with a croc behind u.

Wildboar, went hunting for them b4, they run really fast, kinda difficult to outrun and I doubt buggy will be fast enuf. If I were in the situation, I will defend myself wif my clubs.. hopefully I have an iron in hand! hehe..

Try running in a zig zag manner to outrun a wild boar.
The way their body is built makes it hard for them to turn, especially when they have picked up speed. So once they've turned to follow you, run in the opposite direction again.
They will need to slow down to turn again hence you can gain distance.

I seriously hope you are kidding.

My dad used to hunt. We had a rubber plantation. Occasionally he would hunt wild boars with some friends.

A wild boar charging at you is pretty much unstoppable, even with a gun or rifle, unless you are a crack shot and can get the boar in the head with the first shot. So the hunting group had to be very careful and have a clearly mapped out plan on how to flush out and kill a wild boar. An injured wild boar is even more dangerous. The rifle ammunition had to be of a certain gauge to have sufficient stopping power.

So imagine where you stand when confronting a charging boar with some golf clubs.

And don't imagine we can outrun a wild boar either.

Animal Speed
(mph)
Wart hog 30.00
Human 27.89
Pig (domestic) 11.00

America's Maurice Greene is the fastest recorded running human being. During the 9.79 seconds it took him to set a world record for the 100 meters, he reached a top speed of 43.45kph/27mph. Usain bolt reached a top speed of 27.45mph in his 9.58 WR

So, wild boar 30 mph. Usain Bolt 27.45 mph. The average golfer?

And lastly, it would be mistaken to think we can zig zag faster than the wild boar. We can't even catch a zig zagging pig, let alone out-zig zag a wild boar.

So, what the guy did was correct. Jump into the cart. You are now a much bigger moving target and the boar will think twice.

So guys, whatever you do, when you encounter wild boar on a course, DON'T PROVOKE IT. Back away slooowly and quietly. Don't make the boar feel threatened, esp a female with babies nearby.

When the wild boar is dashing at you, do not move till it came closer enuff for you to make a split second turn to duck it, and whack it hard simultaneously with your iron as if you are hitting a iron shot! Laughing

Haha, good thing I didn't have to outrun one.
I asked the same question when I met one and that was what I was told.

And yes, you're right.
I did a search and they are quite nimble and can jump as well.

In other words, I'll be pretty much **** if one is running at me.

Which course was that? Sounds like a boaring one! Probably to avoid.

Alternatively...Start your phone video...make a request for whoever finds it to load it in youttube and become famous posthumously.
