PostSubject: Sacrificial pig!   Mon Apr 16, 2012 9:03 am

I've discovered that Mloy's bad games (assuming they are true) always take place when I'm not there. When I do play, however, Mloy brings home scores of 88s and low 90s (e.g. 91 at OCC yesterday even though she claimed to have played in the 100s over the last few games). What have I learned from this:

My cross to bear is to be the sacrificial pig for GR. I will bear the brunt of her punishment and in exchange, the rest of you will be spared.

I do, however, want to say that I do not walk this blistered path alone. I have friends who, from time to time, have bent over to help spread out the beating.

These are the ones who are fresh in my mind... and also because I can still hear their screams at night.

1. Bian1980 - who got whacked so much, he's given up golf and decided to sell veggies instead.
2. Rangereye - who surfaces only so often to get air but gets whacked like those moles in the "hit-the-mole" arcade games.
3. DWK - who seems to have left the game of golf altogether.
4. Mox - who, in spite of changing shoes, still struggles under the weight of Mloy's game.
5. Meia - hmmm.... 'nuff said.

Oh well Smile

Chippy - I have utmost confidence that you can take her on...

But we always have room for #6 on that list Smile

Honest...sompah. I have been playing in the 100s for the past few months. Last week I played 103 at Chempaka course at Palm resort that kenkong can attest to it, 109 at MBGC which begbie, blee & meia can attest and 106 at Daiman 18 last Sat. I was really really getting frustrated and upset with my game. But bcos I love this game too much it is so hard to give it up. I'm sure some of you can relate to this.

I lost my driver swing I lost my feel for putting (which all who played with me can vouch). I lost eveything. Sad Stretcher Lately my putting improved a lit bit...was thanks to begbie who gave me a small tip with the follow through and so that took away my yips. Yesterday for the first 6 holes my driver was like a big fade to the "&^%#$ right". My drive used to be my strength in the game and I kept asking myself, why why now my drives keep fading right??? What am I doing wrong? On the 7th hole decided to try something with the placement of the ball. It worked and the rest is history. Hee hee hee.....

But then again being an inconsistent player hopefully my next game will be as good as yesterday. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Anyway TS is correct...I normally play well when he is in my flight. He is like my lucky charm. Face Hug I always enjoy my game when playing with him. TS, Beer on me the next round.

I recall a game at Ponderosa - front 9

mloy - 41
Derek - 42

mloy definitely has the game, just needs to stop getting more anxious the better she plays

Totally agree with you! When I play better I expect more from myself in the next game and then I try too hard and I'll screw up my game. Good advise Derek. Beer

I think that's a fair fight. Mloy should not complain cause she has distance advantage by using the red tees.

Begbie. I worked so hard to put the yips in Mloy's game and in one afternoon, you took it away.

Do not watch this if you are weak.. I am warning you. This is not child safe or office safe.
In fact, if you faint at the sight of blood, do not watch it!

we should not take sacrificial pigs lightly..

Disclaimer: I do not advocate any message in this video. This is what they do and if you have something to say, go to youtube to say it in the comments.

On a lighter note, it is good this doesn't happen on the golf course..
just like getting chased by a wild bear.. i don't have to run the fastest.. i just have to hit someone in the leg real hard..
