Hi Aiers,

Welcome to GR!

A good way to get enough posts is to share a little bit about your own golfing story, e.g. why you picked it up, where you normally play at, who with, what are your pet peeves, equipment you like or dislike, etc etc

If you approach this forum like a social community for you to TCSS about Golf, before you know it, you will have enough posts ...

no problem man. I was thinking of splitting up your questions per reply so that i can get even more posts! (just kidding Cool )

why you picked it up.
Come to think of it. me and my grp of frens was just looking around for something to do. and golf seems something that just happen when you reach certain age. General perception anyway.
And once you start... you cant stop. To me, i find it more of a sport that allows me to social and bond with some of my frens. never have thoughs to becoming pro.
but once u start swing-ing, you just want to make sure you win your next fren. frenly competition bro.

where you normally play at:
still stuck at range. 7th lesson with coach from bishan now. play in MB/ TPY range. Doing it @ 3 times per week. Soon to go greens next.

what are your pet peeves:
sucks too much to have any swing peeves at the moment.

equipment you like or dislike:
none, too noob to worry about it atm. swing more impt to me now i think? Smile

Next aim:
adjust my swing so that I can
-get my freaking i7 to 120 meter consistently from 100 meter atm.
-get my freaking driver to 200 meter from 150 atm.
-get my freaking i4/i5 stable.

basically swing properly dude Suspect

next next aim:
-get my P/S straight and distance consistent for half/ full swing.

next next next aim:
-putt putt.

lol. coach havent teach how to yet actually since we are technically only at our 7th lesson.

Read up some and youtubed some and no place to try also.

plus our time is more spent on trying to get more consistent swings.

But i do realise that short games like chips. P & SW and putt-ing is critical for a good game.

just thought that its still too far for me now to focus on that.

was planning kinda step by step.

Hi Aiers, welcome to a great community.

Never too early to focus on chipping and putting especially if you focus on good and consistent impact. Both are mini versions of the full swing.

It will translate by extension to your full swing.

Cheers. Smile
