I just had a re-look at the review. Nice pics but why is the most impt club in your bag being covered by that horrifying Pipe putter cover?

because the original zen cover does not really fit comfortably well; it is a tight fit. For us who take the putter in and out of the cover 18 times during 5 hours, it is no easy feat to do it quickly and efficiently with the original zen cover. I found it easier with my old pipe putter cover.

hence my topic in the other thread of asking ppl if they are going to nippon land. i intend to get some other cute cover that can do the putter justice.

lets put it this way...i am old enough to be MC's daddy...

speaking of which...if you do not return the putter today by 12 noon, you will be in real trouble. having said that, i must say that your review is getting better, did you use the putter for your sub 90 round or your umbrella.

for the record...the version that MC is using is not available for the retail market. it is issued to tour players only and the entire putter is milled including the aperture and interchangeable top cover.

I will say that I've always found Zen putters easy to hit. There's a good feel whenever with each stroke and the contact with the ball is often smooth. I've not tried this new Zen though and must remind myself to do so when I'm at the Den next.

And, no, I'm not going to steal it Razz

An update on the putter. It is still in my bag. And I have no intention or even a slightest hint of temptation when I see the other new toys. Many have commented that I am putting much better with this baby. I do admit that this is not a miracle putter but it does make things easier for me.

My average putts per game was 36.05. But with the Zen, it is 34.85. Not much a difference but I have alot of confidence in this putter. My miss(es) are now closer and at a very comfortable distance to come back. Lowest was 30 putts made in a game and highest is at 40 when I completely lost 'feel'. To put it to perspective, for 2009, before I use the Zen Oracle, my lowest was 31 with my Ping Anser putter and highest is 45.
