what are brush tees? Those plastic kind of driver tees ? Extra distance?

Usually comes in pack of 3- for driver and the different woods. Can get them at most pro shops. MBGC and Toa Payoh definitely have. Not very expensive (definitely less than 20 for 3) and lasts forever.

Myspygolf did a test on all different type of tee and claimed that this brush tee is only 2nd best. The best will be 3 yards more tee:
