It's like asking what car U should buy, mercs, BMW or Audi.
Everyone will have their own opinion.
Best u try them out first then decide, believe that GH,BFG have demo clubs.
Not sure abt miura, but I believe also have.

All are pretty good irons!

These days we are fortunate that the Respective sellers have demo clubs to test using launch monitor. You should trust your own feel and results more than somebody else's. Demoing is free. Jus need to spend the time but its definitely worth it.

Oh don't mind me adding but BFG have only CBs while the other two have both CBs and MBs.

CBs would be more forgiving than MBs.

So which type u interested in?

And no I am not referring to the gender of the clubs.

I've tried all three, and they are all excellent in their own rights. It just comes down to which you prefer. I switched from mizuno to miura last year, but would be as happy switching to bfg (they weren't officially out yet when I got my miura). My suggestion, as with the other posters, is that you try all of them.

However, whichever you choose, make sure that you get yourself fitted as I believe that proper fitting is more important than which club you pick. So, choose your fitter carefully as well Smile

I should also the shaft is arguably more important than the clubhead.

yep i completely agree. i think the shaft is more important than the club head.

for the club head, given that all 3 brands u've cited are forged and are of high quality, it's simply down to which suits your eye and gives u more confidence at address.

how can anyone compared Miuras and Mizunos with the BFG irons?

the BFG iron is made in china and its a simple design with no frills, designed by a lowly clubfitter. there is no glam factor in using the BFG irons. its not even listed on any website cos its always out of stock. the only thing is its got R&A rules of conformity and hopefully USGA soon.

apart from that its best to test performance and price to decide what really work for you.

Good choice bro. Buttery soft. Although some say Epon is softer.
Anyway miura is a good choice and it holds it's value well. Laughing

From the bro's comment BFG iron is up there among the best which is I think why Chrislzh consider it for comparison.
in the end of the day it's all boils down to personal preference and suitability is my thought and these things are personal so there is no one right answer for all type of people.

and I dont think anyone think BFG is lowly club fitter, far from it, it's one of the respectable club fitter in the market imo.

Great feedback from all bros. The Bfg I must say is better than the mizuno.

The same factory that does fourteen's iron heads? Most of the stuff off the shelves nowadays are made in china. It is the QC standards applied that makes the difference, imo.

Looking forward for the bfg wedges.

Hopefully by the time I am playing at the level when I am worthy of a bfg set, there would be a selection of finishes (*fingers crossed* raw and rusty *hint* *hint*) Wink and probably another model which is leading more towards a blade outlook with the MOI of a CB.

More good years ahead. Cheers. Beer

chrislzh,

congratulation on the purchase. I tried the PP and I know one of the bro here has it as well and he loves it so much. In fact I've probably hit all the club in Torquegolf demo set since are just a stone throw away from my office (i'm an office boy in changi).

my first and probably last love is obvious from my signature and the rest is history. welcome to the list of Miura owner.
