So posted on the forum for sale. Didn't import it in to sell and not making any profit out of it.

Off topic a bit

ChrisD: what 'good' frens you have. next time collect $$$ first, esp when making bulk purchase.

Too many replies...and like my #5 said.....a bit busy

So what's the conclusion?

Is the mod responsible for every ^}%{^}^ thing?

Should we escalate to MP?

Or should we wait for nov 6th when we have a new CJ and ask him to be one of our legal advisor?

The thread gives some education to forumers. That's what Riverdeity's intentions are, if I get him right. I'd say that is fulfilled. I personally would even put it as a sticky.

I second the idea of putting this up as sticky!!

Interesting! A lot of learning here. Still can't get on bed for this; despite tomorrow morning tee-off.

I hv read the exchange of texts. At this juncture, i still remian NEUTRAL. And i am suggesting this as a resolution so ev1 can go to bed;

1/ To ChrisD: we r clueless what arrangement you have with the company but i figure if you plan to continue selling this product; as much as the company who wants sales, you should demand for better support. So, stay on top of this issue, talk to the company, clarify the situations and project the threats of losing more sales if the issue not resolved immediately and push themto take this case seperately.
At times, you have to lose the deals in order to keep the customers! So do everything in your power to help i.e. get the refund

2/ To Ash : Shit happens! We can't avoid but can do our part to reduce by being more cautious. Many times electronic stuff functions intermittently. I suggest you accept what ChrisD is trying to sort out for you - 1st is the refund, at worst accept the new working replacement unit.

Then, set up a round of golf, get familiar with the product and move on and live happily ever after.

OK?

All:

It's getting messy here. To simplify this whole sticky things and end this crazy thread ASAP; here is my view:

1st i.e. the very core issue between ChrisD and ASH. I have made a proposed solution above which directly address the issue and hope both of you agree, commit to it and get it closed.

2nd It is pouring here!!! The best time to fix the roof is when the sun is shining. So, don't discuss whatever crap T&C's, guidelines or enforcements in this thread.
Use the issue as reference to help us improve.

It is that simple!
