Hi All,

This week i have something more to share with all golfers - ladies and men learn golf differently.

Because in the first place, they have different physical makeup. Generally ladies are more flexible and thus they are able to execute a smoother and more fluid swing. Ladies have a different body shape and this means that their hands at address in the setup position is further away from the body.

For asian ladies, equipment choice is critical as they need to match their golf set makeup to their own height and strength.

Last but not least, there is a common misunderstanding that red tee are easier to play compared to white for ladies. This misconception is due to the general perception that the shortened distance gives an added advantage to the ladies. However, golf courses have dedicated ladies tee and usually the red tee is of a higher slope rating/difficulty. A little known fact - The average distance of the ladies tee box is 6200 yards whereas men is 6500 yards.

i started this thread to encourage ladies to ask questions about how they should look at improving their game and the difficulties they faced when trying to advance in their current level of play.

Please feel free to ask any questions and we will try our best to help you find solutions to improve.
