I saw this yesterday on TV. Great tip from both TW and AK. Very informative and useful commentary on golf, their upbringing and style of play.

Its last year's Nike One contest.

25 lucky players from US were supposed to tee it up with Tiger if they found a silver ball with the contest print on it.

Because of this, I had 8 boxes of Nike Ones to finish while trying my luck.

Finish liao lor. That was back in June 2008 when I started trying my luck.

I threw the used balls into the shag ball after 1 round to help quicken the pace.

It was actually only suppose to be TW but as we all know, he was injured so Nike roped in AK for the ball striking demo.

i think he was refering to a way the ball react to the way a golfer swing his club, i don't think he was refering to the type of swing.

its like saying, you can hit 80 metres with your lob wedge or 8 iron or even 5 iron. there is no right or wrong as long as you can have a variety of shots to ball the ball next to the pn, do it!!!

do you think its possible?

Why not? You can chip using a 3w all the way to lw or even putt the ball in. I guess the best players in the world are those who have a gd arsenal of shots. For me, am still trying to master the basic full swing straight ball for each club to no avail. Loft problem

actually its not difficult...but forget about the 3 iron for a change....

think of something that you are comfortable with like an 8 iron. do you know that you can use it to produce 16 different variety of shots, each for a different purpose and circumstances.

i actually learn to hit maybe 4 variety so far and you will be surprise that it all started with a powerpoint presentation that a golf teacher showed me.

I read a blog on a top us amateur. He golf with only 1 club per mth 5 times a week. The next month he change club. He said it helps him understand the club intimately and learn to trust his clubs for any situation. Contemplated doing that but never gotten to do it.

Tigers' key message....

There is no one way to play the game (repeated twice)

We all have our own fingerprints.

We all have to find a system or a system that works best for you.

If you hit the ball better and hit the ball consistently better…DO IT!!!!

YUp. I can do about 6:

- Top
- Duff
- Heel Shank
- Toe Shank
- Thin
- Heavy

and when I try to work it:

- Hook
- Pull
- Slice
- Push
- Double-cross
