| hi all, Myself and 3 friends of mine (ALL very Newbie) thinking of going to JB this Friday morning to "kick off" our virgin 18 holes courses. After our meeting, we have narrow down to either Legend or Tanjon Puteri. Could the old birdie here give some advice which one should we go "break" our virginity in term of: 1. which course is neaer to the causeway by driving? 2. which course is easier for newbie? 3. or rather which having a better scenery to enjoy while newbie like us chasing after the balls? BTW...is it a must to engage a cabby for both course or we can drive buggy on our own? As mentioned, it our virgin and first time on course...pretty stressful while worry might get scolding from caddy for having the ball flying all over the place... Hope to hear from you all soon. Thanks. kleong |

| Go palm villa better if you are virgin, there not so tight, you can shoot anywhere and still can find your balls |

Wah...b for beginner? they better bring more balls....I heard some people played there couple of wks back ..complained even the white tee very far. btw those going to puteri b or c.....prepared to see SAF style locker.... Palm villa good choice cause 1st come 1st serve.

Absolutely. Play Palm and Putra, leave out IOI. For your overall virgin golf experience, Palm Villa is a much better choice. |

| Palm villa is good choice but IOI is where the challenge is. especially when crossing the monsoon drain. |

| besides palm villa i oso think palm resort oso friendly to virgins ... oso buggies there oso in better condition than palm villa and rest of kulai courses.. another advantage of palm resort is that its also nearer to Sg than Palm Villa ... just follow signs to Senai airport |

If you take the EDL-PLUS, causeway will be easier and faster esp if yuo cross over early in the morning, and your house is nearer to woodlands. |

| thanks emwee. this question has been bugging me for awhile.
OK, i played there last Mon, Village after a 3 yr absence. They claimed tt it is newly renovated. Playing from blue is very long. I don't recommend for beginners. You will struggle n not enjoy the game. We started from hole 10 n it is a Par 5, 521metres. |

Yes...even the members tell me, village or B, is the most difficult of all 3 courses. If u see the scorecard, i think it's abt 1 stoke more for the average score compared to the other 2. |
