Village has a par-3 200m from blue, and a few long par-3s with forced carry over water.
Good for some muscle-building. Razz

upz for palm villa. palm resort can also, but not as friendly. cempaka and allamada in palm resort is kinda tough for beginners. maybe melati can handle.

the other one that is not too far and relatively ok is starhill.

Birdman....distance is important, even short distance. I learned this from a pro in a pro-am event. He gave me one little tip on how to hit it further. He asked me to move my tee 6 inches forward. This way, my driving distance will be 6 inches longer.

Palm Villa would be a good choice. Play Putra and Palm course. Those days when trying to break 100.... Palm Villa was a good place to do it. LOL!

Legend too tough for beginner IMO. I remb playing there for the 1st time and lost 26 balls Razz Well Palm is indeed a better choice and is nearer to 2nd link. Up to date my Mrs preferred Palm Villa. If available, we usually go for Palm & IOI Very Happy

When i went home, i found RM329 in my wallet.

No need to have caddy, but they will help you find ball etc...

In Palm Villa, buggy on course so not necessary to have a caddy. You guys enjoy your virgin game. Beer

Totally agree with the seniors here, palm villa better choice than tpgr for newbies, esp course B.
Was there few days back, didn't know better, chose course B (have not read this thread yet).
On the 18th hole, tee off with 5wood, happy that the ball landed nicely on the fairway. Took out the 7 wood for the 2nd shot, hope to on green in two. The ball made a nice high flight and make a near perfect entry into the pond next to the green, with hardly any splash at all. There goes the last of the nine balls that I brought. Embarassed Embarassed
So, newbies beware...

good to have one, especially for those playing virgin game in Palm Villa although many said it's easy if not playing IOI but still beginners don't know the way around the course.

Alamak.....tomorow is going to Palm Villa to break our "virginity" of our Very First course of 18 holes...yet it now raining and big wind. really spit saliva.

hope there is no rain at palm villa now or even tomorow. However, if palm villa is raining like spore now, will the ground be muddy at palm villa at tommorow morning?

any suggestion that we should postphone the date for our "virgin breaking" ceremony? Or just go ahead with the "do or die" attitude?

really at a dilemma now....SIAN. Please advice.
