Infront of the mirror swing seems perfect with full body turn but on the course only hands turn..

Putting drill on putting mats I think makes the most use of my limited time at home in term of lower my score hehe... I do the "20 putt in a roll and start from zero if miss any putt drill". Alignment are best practice at home, then green speed feel at putting greens.

Just my 2 cent.

U got a point ... One tends to experiment and explore new mechanics at home ... Once he brings the new mechanics to the range, he starts to realize that it does not work ... It would be a disaster if he goes straight to the course without trying up at the range ... screw up big time! affraid Laughing

Do it every now and then with a shortened club, about the length of a kid's PW, fixed with a swing weight sock. Just do half swings.

I use the Impactstik. Has a nice feel to it. mirror helps but have to run to the gym for that.

Otherwise, putting mat. That's if the kiddo doesn't overtake it.
