3 birds was caught by the FISH .... nearly 4 in fact.... last one bird flew away, could be due to the ball but i think it was the wedgy behaving badly by spinning "backly" again too much and was nearly ZEN in by the mystical wand again ! (I must apologies your VX5 fish wedge you loan me mis behave and i threw it in to the pond at world classic.

good one Capt......good excuse for not returning the VX5 but since i am not golfing this weekend, you can keep it

for another couple of days.

so its official......BFG, Steelfiber, ZEN all going to Arizona. this is even bigger news that when it was used at Augusta National.

Slinger i was told was a couple of shots back and its great news that you guys got the score that you were aiming for.

Wow Augusta National during Masters?? At this rate, Fish stick might be no longer a small start up from Singapore.

Best of luck DGman

The World Classic, indeed confirmed her reputation that precede her... ask me if it is a fair layout, i would say Yes ! let me quantified my YES. If one observe and plotted and planed every shot(I really mean practically every shot) before Tee up and approaching shot to the green and look for the bail out area the course is very playable. But once you lose your cool and say F%$# it, all hell will break loose. The greens too, are of luxury condo sizes, but if you land on wrong area, no chance for even 2 putt !
Very demanding mentally and she will test all aspects a golfer needs to have a decent round(near to your own handicap). Must confess for a couple of holes I scored 0 points when i was feeling "aiya no problem" one was only 130 m to the green the other was a drive which pull slightly left).

Observing my flight mates (Sham, Slinger and Vincent kuah) they too like me had a few lapses of concentration and the "fat lady" scores will show up. Vincent kuah is a pro and a top amateur in his days.... mutter a few angry words to himself out of frustration (even he had 4 birds) Sham, for first time his coolness showed up and took the game with the right attitude and composure(I notice he was watching and emulating VK smooth, stable yet a very powerful swing) Slinger started as usual was cool with a boh chap attitude but can tell after the fist shot of the day the boh chap attitude disappeared.

I won not only because i played OK but .... but with the lady luck, the computer pick the 6 holes I scored 0 and 1 pointer for the double peoria system and gotten a 11 hcp, while sham was assigned with a 6 hcp, slinger a 10 hcp and VK a 4 hcp.

All in all, I am lucky to have met Eric years ago who kept my equipment and game on the up curve, especially i have the habit of having a few(many) misdemeanor on my part due to my own itchiness, like I concocting my own specs and buy things that looks good without performance. Mmmm.. but will still continue my misdemeanor act of taking his experimental stuff.... he he he

You will definitely leave the course having a feeling of "happy ending" but with either sastifaction or frustration. (ask Asahi to elaborate on this part)

the latter latter part is a damn good testimonial coming from a discerning golfer....but Capt was really focussed this week working on what he needs to do. Sham as usual will produce magic results when he needs to and i think Slinger did very well to keep up with the Jones.

i think this is the only flight were the difference between the best and worse score is 5 strokes.

great results and i do hope Asahi will also get his happy ending (not with Nicasio)

Slinger 44 out 40 in = 84 gross score (with a 8 on one hole)
Sham 40 out 39 in = 79 gross score
and68low 39 out 42 in = 81 gross score
Vincent Khua 37 out 41 in = 78 gross score

here's the finished article of the upgrade trophy....

its unlike the conventional trophies and its made with engineering a BFG iron head with a Slimey Limey and a Grip Master Tour Wrap.

see beyond the trophy........for the next contest.

Thank you my friends for all compliments ... just a stroke of luck and the stars aligned for me. Was told the Arizona tournament is US golf punk team vs international golf punk team. And the USA team are Pros .... ha ha I will need more than miracle and luck ! But what the hack ! I will enjoy the event and occasion.

hahaha yes but not for me personally. It is for a annual challenge tournament that I sponsor annually in a local club here. I was thinking of replaceing the old trophy.
