I like the Fitness First clubs... Frequent the oNe Raffles Plc where it do PT.

The Fuisionopolis club is awesome.

Millennia and AMK hub isn't too bad either as I popped in for a shower only.

If you need an intro, let me know...

I go to functional training institute (FTI). They are a boutique gym located at Queen St. I think there is at least another GRian working out there.

They focus on (as the name implies) functional training, with emphasis on core muscle movement. Each session is a personal training session, where you work with your trainer to achieve your fitness goals. Training there involves using more of your own weight as resistance, so that means not a lot of machines (think there are only 3 treadmills, 2 elliptical trainers. 2 bikes and 1 rowing machine). You have stuff like TRX, kettle-bells, sandbags, sledgehammers (!) and ropes (hate that) in addition to free weights

If you like your workout to be more tailored, and don't like those mega gym types, you might wanna check them out.

What would be your definition of good and nice ?

Some people refer to air conditioned and with lots of machines etc

Some prefer with more cardio machines etc

Some prefer hardcore crossfit style gym . I can recommend you some , but after hearing what is your preference. Smile

If your aim is to cut and gain strength . I will recommend crossfit style .
