This is basically a one club longer iron. Checked the loft they are super strong.....

Again they are built for distance. I'm questioning the accuracy....

Thanks to Titleist for starting this trend, they called the AP2 a blade when introducing them in 2009.

The video is interesting since some players claim that shots were very high. Can you imagine hitting your 4 iron the same height as your PW?

I don't see it a big deal in one club longer. It's most likely because of the loft is one club lower. The japanese had been doing this in most of their clubs like yamaha and s-yard.

Do you guys notice a slot in the sole?
Imagine all the crap that would be stuck inside after each shot/round

I hope the slot is sealed though...

The slot is sealed according to TM to keep dirt out

Blade in this context is just marketing. Its not blade irons that we know. This is very much a cavity back

Slot is sealed with a material patented by 3M and helps to keep dirt out, dampen vibrations and yet does not interfere too much with the reflex action that the "slot" promises. Or so they claim
