This is basically a one club longer iron. Checked the loft they are super strong.....

Again they are built for distance. I'm questioning the accuracy....
I don't see it a big deal in one club longer. It's most likely because of the loft is one club lower. The japanese had been doing this in most of their clubs like yamaha and s-yard.

saw the vid.. lol must say they have gd marketing

interested to see if the tour staff switched to this rbz. they play the TP MC and MB now.

Thanks to Titleist for starting this trend, they called the AP2 a blade when introducing them in 2009.

The video is interesting since some players claim that shots were very high. Can you imagine hitting your 4 iron the same height as your PW?

brudder, you switch avatar already? Laughing when shipment will arrive?

Do you guys notice a slot in the sole?
Imagine all the crap that would be stuck inside after each shot/round

I hope the slot is sealed though...

The slot is sealed according to TM to keep dirt out

Blade in this context is just marketing. Its not blade irons that we know. This is very much a cavity back

Slot is sealed with a material patented by 3M and helps to keep dirt out, dampen vibrations and yet does not interfere too much with the reflex action that the "slot" promises. Or so they claim

The Wilson Reflex irons feature the polymer-filled Shock Trap to increase feel and control n helps to redistribute the weight and increase perimeter weighting... guess similar to what the TM Rocket Bladez r doing too... http://www.bonanza.com/listings/Wilson-Reflex-7-Iron-Shock-Trap/62560091

Think this technology Shock Trap was ported over from Wilson Tennis racquets see http://www.midwestsports.com/wilson-shock-trap-vibration-dampener/p/3151038/

I think Taylormade is the fastest company in terms of releasing new clubs. Two or three new clubs a year is usual for Taylormade. Their marketing is so "distance" wise.

This club looks and sounds interesting.

http://www.tgw.com/newfor2012/taylormaderocketbladez/index.jsp

But setback about TM golf clubs is that new ones are released way too fast......the poison keeps flowing through the year!

Stumbled upon this article:

Guess I'll wait till the tour version is out.

I have to give MGS credit for the review. Gone are the days they sneer at TM offerings. The bad blood is behind them now. It's a really fun review to read!

Credit is given where credit is due here. It's consistently long is the message. Only question is whether you'll fork up top dollar for it or wait for GD to put it on sale? Question

thinking the same.... hehehe.

BTW I saw some pics on the internet.... I think their Gap wedge is more like "Rocket Blades". Definitely blades type than the rest of the iron set.
