Hi,

I am now riding a 500cc Aprilla scooter. I recommend Honda brand for higher reliability and easier maintenance.

I used to sling a Sunday bag on my back while riding, wouldn't recommend that. Cause quite dangerous.

Good luck

mi5,

Agreed. $2k not worth. Try your luck at the local bike forum.

TDO,

Vmax is a monster. Seen an ex colleague performed wheelie using Vmax.. Woo Hoo...

My wheelie don't have the guts now. The last bike I owned was a Honda VF750 back in 1991.

The real terror in the early and mid 1970s was the Yamaha RD350. I owned one in 1979. Terrorised almost all big bikes up to 750cc leaving them behind in a trail of white smoke. Very fond memories back then.Very Happy

sam. ya. if only he accept my highest offer, then i can ride a bike now. hehe... bro. what is your est price for this scooter? i means just for chat only about your view only.

tdo, i don't know about wheelie on vmax, but when i ride a vmax, it does hae the pull power. very exciting.

i never rode a vf740 magna before. but i heard it is a muscle bike too.

LC tong does have it fun, it is 2 stroke mah.

by the way, vmax have new design afew years ago, i think is your picture type. i recall very ex. hehe... but good muscle bike.

Bro Mi5,

U may try but I doubt owner will accept cause COE already over $1k. If u offer $3k, u might need to fork out extras to replace the transmission system. 10 year old bike quite problematic, Italian somemore. My Italian scooter only 6 years but repairs already costs me a bomb.

I once rode a Honda steed for 7 years plus. Other than the meter cable snapped twice, this bike never failed me. The rest just normal wear and tear like batt, tyres, normal servicing. My next bike will be a Honda, or at least Japanese.

Good luck!
Sam

Check out the new Yamaha Tmax. Nice

My friend use to have one, bought used for $6k. Tie his golf bag on the bike.

To TDO: The new Vmax cost abt $50K now, else i will get one. Used to own one in yr95, cost me just $17k then, and i sell it 4yr later for $16.5k Very Happy

I am dreamiing too

Have stopped for many years. Now, thinking of the 3 wheelers Piaggio. Lau liao kiasi - damn bloody true. with wife some more - almost no chance. Crying or Very sad

Bro, Cam Am is a 3 wheeler with lots of muscle too. But bery expensive for a used bike.3 year plus and still asking for $35k. This bike will draw lots of attention too and make lots of nice exhaust noise.
