| I was recently at Palm Villa and Royal Johor CC. I was shocked to find that they were blatantly selling fake stuff, and for what must be a good profit. I wouldn't be surprised to find these being sold at the roadside stalls or even shopping centres in JB, but to find these at established golf clubs is really unacceptable.
In Palm villa, there were fake Scotty cameron putter covers, which looked real, until you look closer to examine the font and stitching. Also, they did not come in the standard scotty cameron packaging. The real thing would probably cost around S$200. They were selling it for RM 180.
In RJCC, i saw the same fake Scotty cameron putter covers. On top of that, the R11s driver headcovers as well as their boston bags also look extremely dubious. I was about to buy some Nike polo tees from the pro shop, but having seen all these fake stuff, i decided against it.
Anyway, just be careful when buying stuff from Malaysia golf clubs. |

| Haha SC... I mentioned the Scotty covers to my flight mates when I played there recently. Funny how pro shops can sell dubious gear. _________________ Clearing my Storeroom of golfing goodies. dont get me wrong. this is not about malaysia vs spore. i'm just saying that it is shocking that this is happening at pro shops at established golf courses. |

yes... I went to proshop in SG and offered a set of Taylormade RBZ for $400 something dollar (which is much cheaper if you buy them separately). All the driver down to irons and putter. After closely looking at the irons, I suspect they are fake. They have a cheap graphic stamped on the iron. Plus I don't remember there is a RBZ putter on the market. |

| Wah. Which pro shop was this? That's a serious issue. Could they have been second hand clubs? _________________ Clearing my Storeroom of golfing goodies. Please help support " A ball will always come to rest halfway down a hill, unless there is sand or water at the bottom." Henry Beard |

Bro, oro shop (mentioned by SC) in RJCC or JCC as it is known now is MST. I doubt they sell fake stuff....they are pretty reputable. |

You are losing your credibility as fast as a piece of shit flowing down stream.. and i doubt unless u can provide any proof.. Ur shit dun stick. Go learn a thing pr two abt wat is a pro shop b4 u decide to open ur big mouth.. And even if its remotely true, Im sure u must have given the sales guy the impression that ur a dumbshit for him to even try. Go figure.. |

Innocent until proven guilty. We are not in a position to determine nor have the technical ability to ascertain whether an item is fake or otherwise. Would you be able to differentiate the real m'coy with a very well made fake? I sincerely doubt so. |

Now, you make me have my turn at being very CURIOUS. Since you are so good at differentiating, why didn't you excercise your curiosity hormones at the pro shop and clarify the authenticity of the clubs on the spot? |

| you cant say that its fake because the price is too cheap. if they want to sell fast, they will take less profit and go for bigger quantity sold. |
