| It’s that time of year again when the 2013 European Tour kicks off with the Middle East Swing. This year's AD HSBC championship is held from 17-20 Jan at the Abu Dhabi Golf & Country Club. Many players, including Rory and Rose, have arrived as early as last weekend. Perfect weather for golf now - last evening was 18C with 45% humidity, windy though. Rory was spotted at the Els Club in Dubai last Thurs. When I went to the club for breakfast on Friday, i did'nt see him, or any one Els, so I went somewhere Els to look. No sign of Tiger yet. TEC's Callum Nicoll practising with Ernie Els at the HSBC Abu Dhabi Golf Championship yesterday.  Many European Tour players have visited JGE this past week.  Rafa Cabrera Bello shows us a few tricks at my home club, Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, about 15min from my office. I played there 2 days ago.  Rafa at the sixth hole of SBGC. Thats the St Regis Resort in the back ground.

| Brudder techno how are you man! The tickets for this tournament, as well as the season finale at Jumeirah Golf Estates are all....... FOC! All four days They encourage golfers and non-golfers alike, with family and kids and grandparents to stroll the park, smell the fresh air and be acquainted with golf. Good right?  |

| Hi Daniel I played there 4 weeks ago when the rough was growing and stands erecting. Golf in UAE is surprisingly affordable and lets not ignore that most of them play to championship standards in course layouts and maintenance. I paid 130SGD last month. Price of NSRCC? Weekend rates for winter ranges from 150SGD to about 300SGD. Summer is when I play the most. Weekend rates for summer ranges from 70SGD to 100SGD. max 51C though. |

| Rory finishes at +3 after an opening round 75 and Tiger with level par 72 - slow start for the world #1 and 2 out here today. I think they can go Disco tonight liao |
