PostSubject: lefty callaway razr x or mizuno jpx800 irons?   Sat Jan 26, 2013 4:12 pm

Hi,

disclaimer first: im lefthanded, so quite hard to try clubs.

I currently hv a set of razr x irons with the stock graphite shaft. am thinking of trying the jpx800 given its raving reviews. should i stick with graphite shafts (which i bought last yr so as to minimise shock due to mishits cos im still noob), or should i progress to steel shafts? i hv an option to buy a used set with project x graphite 5.0 shafts. are these recommended?

any views will be helpful. tks!

mate, unfortunately lefty clubs are quite hard to sell.
Why change your Razr X irons? It is similar to JPX series isn't it? i.e. game improvement irons.

I'll be surprise if you will see a huge improvement from JPX over the Razr X, but I stand corrected. Anyway, it is not uncool to use graphite irons these days... so, why not stick to them?

Proj X shafts, not for the faint hearted, really.

But if budget is not an issue, just pull the trigger and get them JPX! Have Fun!

Just heard a lot of good things abt jpx800, esp w the minimal offset. Yea, think I need to see how much the razr x can fetch before considering buying something new. Anyone interested :p

Hi, I am lefty also. In the old day, I use graphite shaft, once swing too hard, ball will lost control. Last eyar, I have got a JPX800 from USA. The shaft is DGlite XP300 R, it make the ball more easy control. After 6 month, I just feel the shaft is a bit heacy for my (I am over 50 old already). Last Oct, I have changed shaft to steel fieber from BFG. Eric help me the replace them. I feel this is the bset shaft and club right now with me. Still have the control, also have the distance. Do let me know when you go to MBGC range. You can try my JPX800 with SF shaft.

Regards!
