PostSubject: What's up golf republic   Fri Mar 15, 2013 10:16 pm

Hi guys and gals, just putting down a short introduction. Im Kevin, 23 this year and freshly graduated from NUS Law faculty. New to the forum but definitely not new to this sport we all hold so dearly. Stopped completely before pursuing my degree but represented my country and state for as long as I could. Currently still a scratch handicap (+3 actually) though am unable to play to it after the 5 year hiatus. Been back full time for about 2 and a half months to date and currently shuffle between sg and malaysia for training. Very Happy

Hope to learn and contribute to this forum as much as my schedule permits. Happy golfing to all cheers

Cheers,
Kevin

Welcome to the forum bro chrystkevin. Beer

How I envy single handicappers. Been playing golf since 1995 (less 3 years of laying up) and still unable to break 80. Sad

No need to be envious, golf is a game where perfection is unattainable. You envy single handicappers, they envy low singles who then envy professionals, we all play in envy LOL. AS long as we have fun along the way, thats more than a sufficient reason to keep at it cheers

Thanks bro. Nah I stick to Jcc, NSRC, Laguna and Sentosa. Kranji too far >.<

Good question sir.
Well the thing is, and I know titleist fans may disagree but this is my personal opinion and what suits my game. I find the Lethal to have more control around the greens, it also feels softer off my blades and I can get 7 to 12 yards more out of it on my drives. The only reason I use prov1x to practice is cause im under acushnet thus its muvh cheaper to use it lol

Hope that answers ur query. Cheers

Thank you sir. You have just confirmed my own observations about the lethal ball. I was wondering why my v1X was running past the hole so much compared to the Lethal.

Ahah no problem. Not to mention durability, not sure bout the 2013 v1x cause I still have like 30 dozens of the 2011 model but the 11 v1x scuffs very easily (6 balls used per tournament 18) compared to the lethal which can last me almost 9 holes per ball =/
I think the Lethal plays similar to the 07 v1x which was my ball of choice, too bad I cant get it anymore unless I make the pga tour hahahaha

Ah but we can barter trade. A full tank of gas. You give us golf ball, we dont take stroke from a scratch player etc.....

Just messing with you, great to have solid reviews of usage and equipment. Equipment whores like crayon and some of us here lap it up.

LMAO the tank of gas isnt that enticing as I pump in malaysia lol. HOWEVER, the no stroke idea seems appealing hahahaha
