It is a way of releasing frustration and stress ... He should be okay after the "granny-style" nagging ... Laughing

A true story. You know fairway grass mower driven by workers. My buddy hit one of them fellers and fortunately, it hit the feller stomach. He is a big fat guy. The worker was driving one and came down and at the same spot my buddy's ball stray towards. And smacked, you hear it far away at 220m. It was loud. We shouted and hailed at him. He didnt listen and why, he was wearing headset with his music on.

What do you do? Quickly rush over, checked that he is ok and he is not hurt. Apologize and made sure he is alright. He was lucky to be alive

Moral of the story? Your friend is definitely not Duval_S.

Not sure what you guys are talking about. But you have to wait for the flight to clear the green and drive off to the next hole before you proceed with your shot.

thats what i meant....

but to give an example.... kranji hole 15 and hole 16, the 2 long par 4s

hole 15 green is pretty close to hole 16 tee box, i was on 1 occasion hit by a ball from hole 15 while i was standing at hole 16 tee box, i heard the shout but too late, hit me on the chest, but i dun fault the guy for dangerous play, cos i know its not his fault as he has waited for us to leave the green n walk to hole 16.....SHIT happens

If I ever need to hit someone, I hope it is you since you so nice.

Of course, it will never be in my intention to hit anyone, not sure about my golf ball's intention though. Don't worry, I will shout "Fore' as loud as I can.

We were putting on hole no 4 when a ball landed on the green. My flightmate waited for the culprit to arrive and gave him the kind of scolding my rsm reserves for new recruit. Nevermind that the culprit was a 60 year old who teed off with a fw, and that he was loud enough play stopped on the next few holes.

If u really want to play at your pace, trying booking all the forward 4 flights and the back 4 flights.

That's understandable. Lately my ball seems to be finding the birds more and more on fairways, greens even at the range. And in my last game almost hit a big white one on the water bank.
Keeping fingers crossed that I don't actually hit or kill one ever.

Was preparing to tee off, and one ball 'fall' just to the left of my left foot! He didn't say anything and just pick up the ball.
Though am still new to the game and most of my ball find the woods, sands and water, never did the ball go that close.
And I won't be heading back to the course again.

Completely unacceptable. The golfer should have apologized at the very least. In fact, he should do so profusely. If he goes about thinking that what he did was OK, he may do so again and this time, he may not be as fortunate (and neither will the poor chap who gets struck by the ball). I'd give him a good telling off, at the very least. In fact, given the proximity of the ball, I'd report it as well.

These golfers happenend to be everywhere, last wk in Palm Resorts, in Melati, one of the hole, i think hole 9 the buggies park was in front of the green, as we were walking off the ball from the back roll behind us. I went to told the flight behind, the rude uncles was not apologetic and become very aggressive, saying simi his frien already lost 4K and we were slow, I felt like telling him, if his friend cannot afford to lose, then don't bet. SORE LOSER. I invited him to overtake, they got no balls to overtake also, such golfers only can played in courses where there's no rules. Sorry to say that to Palm Resorts' members.

To teach the golfer the severity of his action, you should have pretended to have been hit by lying on he ground, clutching your head.

I seriously wonder what's wrong with these golfers, do they have to wait until they hit someone before they will learn why safety is if utmost importance?

Sheesh.....
