I have personally game with seb and witness his 280 m drive.
Agree on the "to each his own" but each should also be fair in his/her comments.

Forgive my confusion, so the thread is actually "Feedback About Sigma's Golf"? Never mind, that was a rhetorical question.

And you are right, the fairest way to find out, just to be sure that the comments are not biased either way, would be to perform a "Sigma Golf" search in the forum.

Btw the name of the thread is as per its title.  So feedbacks can be positive or negattive but should be fair.  So hopefully no confusion. Lol

Hi Wtapz, you probably dont know him well enough to comment on his character. So what if he can drive 280 or 300m when he cant even GIR and make birdies. I have witness many here that dont drive far but play below 80s....
No personal attack here but no matter how great a person is, doing not too honest a business in the pretext of love and helpfulness for surrounding people looks bad enough....just my small little thoughts

Well, surely Seb had his own supporters, just like Eric or Spencer, I never deal with Seb so no comments. Anyway there's so many good players in here. If whoever enjoy seb's service go ahead. Surely he cannot monopolized the golf fitting mkt anyway. Some may like you some may not.

Not all club fitters or humans are perfect. 1-2 years ago, I accompanied my fren there to customise miura irons with NSPRO650 shafts. Everything was good except the grips which were not properly fitted. My fren revisited again to regrip but a day later, all grips were detached abt an inch. From then, our group swear not to patronise again.

Other than up front sales, after sales service plays an equally important role in the whole sales process.

I dont think you should get too defensive bro...
Instead you should reply along the lines of.."oh if you have patronised my shop and i have done something that is not up to your standards, please let me know so that i can improve my services for the future customers."

Being defensive will just turn people against you.. Just my two cents.

2yrs back there is no Sigma Golf. There is no nspro650 shafts too. I have my long list of all Miura owners. There is only 3 who come back for re-gripping issues last year. It is impossible after regripping all of them detach abt an inch after a day, unless u used every piece before they are dry. Anyway re-gripping or even replacement of grips are free if fault lies in our work. Maybe u like yr friend to contact me and I re-imburse the cost of the grips.

I do agree last year we had some technical issues, but we never brush them off, instead we work to ensure we remedy all problems.

This year I have rectified the problem and I kept all records of irons sets and clubs data built by me. Regularly I check up with all customers on their clubs, esp the Miura owners.

All owners are informed of the components clubs they purchased. Either they are from parallel importers, authorized dealers, direct factory sources or the countries they are made in, such as China, Taiwan, USA, Japan or even Bangadesh!

They are all price accordingly and accepted by the purchasers.

If in doubt, please contact me direct at 91461166, after 12pm daily. I am a late riser, lol.

Being called arrogant is fine. Being accused of conducting dishonest business without proof is a different issue. It can lead to legal issues.

I have not dealt with Sigma before and I do not know Seb or anyone there. But to be fair, you cannot say "No personal attack" but in the same line insinuate dishonesty and insincerity without giving information to support such personal comments. My 2 cents worth.

example 1: a frd brought a vokey with no serial number, checked with titleist and found to be not real. Being a fitter, this is the least he or she should know..
example 2: a frd brought a set of miura from him before and when brought to golfwerkz and when check by a old time fitter and found with poor accustomised swing weights. btw, this frd of mine is still forgiving of that and decided to move on...

btw do note i am not trying to create trouble to anyone doing business here. Sigma golf may be established and well liked. But being defensive when questioned and talking about legal or law suit is not what a gentleman and patient fitter should be like.
If my word on honesty is offensive, my apology to Sigma for that.

This topic is becoming rather personal.

Let us not get upset about how far somebody hits a golf ball, most of us should just be glad to have the health to get out and play, regardless of direction or score.

Its Friday, lets turn our venom on the ball this weekend.

To all who are playing, keep it long and straight.Very Happy:D:D

My typo error it shld be NSPRO750 and it was 1to 2 yrs ago. I was there with my fren. Saw him pay u $$$ for the passing point irons. I am just highlighting to others about your skill on re-gripping. Despite making another trip to solve the problem, the grips detached after 1 day of drying. My fren paid another fitter to change all the grips just after 2 days of purchase from you. we were there (3 of us). I shall stop here and u can carry on to be defensive.

Don't get me started on my one and only visit to Sigma and when I enquired about whether my cheap putter's lie required adjustment, reply was "not worth adjusting"......Btw, before that I actually bought a new putter grip from him a minute ago...Unforgettable visit....definitely my last...

I think i ranted before on this incident...I better stop...ommmmmm

NSpro750 with passing point must be Mr Hon. Yes we did had some issues with his set. We did try to solve the problem, and politely tell him to contact me DIRECTLY if issue arises again. I have identified the "ROOT" of the problem and permanently remove IT. Apology for the unpleasant experience.

Thru these times, I have been improving the fitting supplies and parts. I believe majority of us are using the same supplier. I have a open concept work area and anyone can see the parts I used.

Some items we source from "Tour Issued" sources, some direct from the factories. We explain in detail with relation to the price to all customers. We even let customers try the finished clubs before they paid.

Regarding to comments on clubs, when asked I give my 2 cents worth. It is up to individual to accept or reject. I always look at the functionality and value when ask to access the required work.

If I remember correctly, I did comment it is better to alter the length instead of the lie, as that putter is not recommended to bend, and risker if result is unsatisfactory. Others might have a different opinions, based on each experience and technical knowledge. Older doesn't mean better.

There was once a old Far East fitter commented on a set of Epon AF302 I reshafted, that the PW should be 36" instead of 35.75", recommended by me. A check on the Epon website shows the PW comes at 35.25"!!!!

He did commented the shaft logo are all not aligned, so the fitting is wrong. Well, I had spined and aligned the club head to target line, which is the fundamental in my fitting theories and I regularly demonstrated the effect and the results. As all the shafts spine are not aligned with the logo, naturally the logo will not face the same directions!

I don't like to make posts, but this thread is really making me laugh, such an enjoyable read, so many funky characters within this virtual golf world! Then again, maybe it's just the Singaporean blood...

Have a great golfing weekend ahead!

Guys give Seb a break. i personally think he is very passionate about what he do and he personally built every piece of equipment late into the evenings. i am sure he has his reasons for wanting to take accountability for everything he does. thats his style.

like everyone and anything else, we need time to learn, practice and perfect. not just building clubs but also managing customer relationship and customer expectations.

i don't think there is ever a perfect solution to everything or everyone but to each his own. Sebastian needs the opportunity to show his mettle. if you don't agree with his style, find someone else.

if i have the opportunity to bring someone to a tour support service, i will be happy to invite Seb to join us in the future.

Cheers and have a great weekend everyone..........DGman

The story to me was quite different. The only comment made was "not worth adjusting", upon my persistent probing:" sorry ah, can I check what is not worth it, the your charges too expensive, the effort or the value of my putter?"

Some ackward silence later then u revealed "what the putter has offset...blah blah...why don't you try your shortened putter.... Address the putter let me see... Use this shortened putter first... See how..."

I was there with a friend...he can testify...
