Thanks much, Duval.

Does cow grass increase the chance of club damage? More sandy fairways?

anyways, for me at least , I find cow grass tough-er coz many times , the ball kind of sit under...so need more effort to hit......especially me the slow head speed 'infant beginner' golfer....

In my opinion golf courses should never be allowed to have cow grass. Evil or Very Mad Terrible stuff. Coming from Aussie land I had never seen it before till I played at SICC. Not too bad when its dry, but when it is wet and soggy, very difficult to play off.

Abit of reality, I watched on Golf channel showing those soldiers in Afgan....to me, if they can play on those surface where grass regardless of density or types is scarce , I am of the view that one should....at least apply to me....

can play golf, I smile fm east to west.

I think playing on cow grass is just a matter of perception. My home club is Sembawang, which uses cow grass. I'm so used to it that i don't even notice it anymore.. the only difference i find is that i tend to lose a little bit of distance.
