We should be punished, we have been unkind to TS. We shouldnt have tempted him, he is such a good feller. When he miss his eagles and birdies, we should try not to remind him of he could have easily secure the eagles and birdie with MX300. The soft feel and silky smooth.. Gosh, what waste....

well said KK..
I too felt that I have more Pars and occassionally birdies after I owned my 57.

It's really such a pity that such a good golfer like TS, not using the those buttery clubs that by feeling & hearing the sweet spot, would put his confidence above any others.

Seriously I think, even the balls I used, felt soooo happy and shiok when hit by my 57.

I'm thinking of a rename to Mizunospaz.

I really doubt it's financial issue.

Maybe it's just like love-hate relationship for TS.... just like having a mistress (the wifey is X20 now!)

Here is a quick objective review.

TS, when I tried the new 2010 line a 2nd time with different shafts, the 2 that impressed me the most is were the MX-300s and the 68s.

The 68s from the back looks pretty much like any other blade. However, what made me get them over the others in the wishlist were its blunted leading edge and camber on the sole. This really made the difference for me.

The 300s are really good. They felt solid and very different from the GI clubs I have hit like G10s, X-20s and TM burners. I will dare to say they are almost player-like. They are just more forgiving than a blade which was why I almost considered them for the 3-5i setup. The way it sets up is also very much different from other GI irons. This is a good choice for those ready to step into a mid-hdcper's set without losing too much control.

Comparing MX-25s and MX-300s, alot have said its just a re-badged product. Granted that the specs on paper are quite similar, I will disagree to that. The noticable difference for me on this set is the impact is softer with less click. I think the Y Tune Pro on the 300s makes all the difference to the old 25s' pocket cavity and it also changes the impact sound too.

I must say that this set can seriously be a contender for 'best new product of 2010'.

All the good things said about the MX-300 makes me want to get a set without even having seen or tried it Very Happy Just out of curiosity, how does it compare to the jpx e-500? I'm always itching for new irons...
