I don't see why not? as long as the hole size is the same diameter, but why u wanna replaced it with a lousier shaft? If u broke your shaft, surely u can claim insurance and take a better one.

Change the whole driver, R5 is no longer conforming . And in the event u get HIO and win a car, u might end up not winning it.

You wanna change shaft or change driver?

@ChrisD, I think the R5 is a conforming one. If I'm not wrong the old burner is the one not conforming.

Enwee,

You may want to check this out. Thinking won't help, checking from this list will help all doubt.

I think he meant this series

Which is conforming, the XR-05 series is not.

The R5 Dual is conforming. At least that's what the list here says.

XR-series look completely different compare to this. If my memory had not faded, the R5 series which is show in my picture, it's only released after the announcement of the COR limit after 1999.

@limcq, you can verified your head with the pictures on the USGA website. Also if you are not in some casual game I guess it's ok to use whether it's conforming or not, unless you kept overdrive your flightmates by a lot.......affraid
Btw you wanna change shaft or you wanna change driver?
