Welcome to GR, get a lesson mate
It's probably less painful and more structured learning

Going thru the plethora of Internet swing gurus may mess you up more than you know
Just my 2 cents
Good luck!

Tour Pros always make it so easy ... But do you know how much time they have sweated in the range in the beginning of their professional golfing journey before you see them reached this level? Albeit a golfer is playing a ball in static position, there are many variables involve in a golf swing that make it so complicated and tough to excel ...

You Tube video of golf swings may only be useful for golfers with sound fundamentals.

To shorten your learning curve and to ensure that you in-grain the right fundementals from the beginning, I urge you to sign up with a qualified swing coach ...

I mean, you can't help but to realize how slow and easy Ernie Els strikes the ball.
You compare his swing to pros like Rory and Tiger. The latter are swinging so fast with lotsa power while Ernie Els really makes look so "slow and smooth"
If you know the head coach at OCC, Phil Brew, that's what I am talking about... His swing and impact is pretty similar to Ernie Els style

Having gone for proper instruction many years ago, read countless articles in golfing magazines and books, watched zillions of swing videos (many posted by the golf gurus here on GR), and constant self-practice on the range, nothing beats seeing a coach for a short lesson.

All that effort to purchase reading material to glean tips to try on the range, or valiant attempts to slow down the tempo after watching Louis Oosthuizen on YouTube - though part and parcel of the golf journey, most of the time it is conjecture if they work for your swing type and your body.

Definitely, trying to emulate a pro's swing is fun, but a good coach will be able to help you more effectively.  One lesson can be all it takes; having a trained eye observe you once every few months ensures you are practicing the right things, rather than ingrain movements that are hard to undo, or worse, cause long term wear and tear of your joints and muscle.  We all want to golf for as long as we can wave a stick right?

Of course if all else fails - go out and get that new driver you wanted.   Like a Star @ heaven

I second entity, a good coach ensures that you are practicing the right things. Practicing the wrong things can damage a lot of things, physyically and mentally Very Happy
